Restaurang Museet by Richard Lindvall in Stockholm

Richard Lindvall created a vivid atmosphere for this dualistic space – bistro by day and bar by evening. Keeping the interior overall quite minimal and simpel, creating new ambient by changing the items on display in the glass show case boxes, hence the name Museet (The Museum). So it is an ever-changing atmosphere… just like in a museum.

Materials are white glazed tile, dark wooden floors, marble, brass, iron, glass, flame coloured velvet fabrics, cognac coloured leather.

Interior design of Standard in Denmark – restaurants Studio, Verandah and Almanak

The Standard combines a jazz club, three restaurants named Studio, Verandah and Almanak, and two bars. The name pays tribute to the history of the Art Deco building which Danish architect and Royal Building Inspector Kristoffer Nyrop Varming designed in 1937 in the midst of the golden age of timeless “standards”. The architect’s great grandson Søren Varming designed all the logos. That is just one of many examples of how The Standard will be offering new wine in old bottles, from contemporary cutting-edge cuisine that respects the tradition but isn’t afraid of boldly reinventing it, to top echelon jazz music that courageously mixes the known with the unknown, the old with the new.

Decorated by the design team Christina Meyer Bengtson and Ulrik Nordentoft.
